aYO! i finally got around to uploading and editing this video together.

it’s the joe’s and a brian from Starkid performing at the Quidditch World Cup in Kissimmee FL back in April of this year.

just some clips of their skits that they performed that afternoon. i know there’s some full footage of the Doctor Who skit or the Potion’s Master Corner (which I have full of) but I thought I’d put this montage together (because i enjoy doing so)

ENJOY!! see ya’ll at Leaky next year! hope you had fun this past week :)

boobytrapzap:

So the new quidditch rule book is up. Not sure I like all of these changes. Saying “ready” before brooms up is apparently something someone wanted? I thought the whole point was to rely on reaction speed?

sombies:

So, me and my absolutely ridiculous face are featured on page 52 of the official IQA Quidditch Rule Book 7. I am pretty stoked about this; however, the stokedness may be slightly clouded by sheer embarrassment because I look like I’m throwing a shot put instead of a dodgeball toward this unfortunate Marquette player.
On another hand, I’m pretty sure I beat his ass quite hard. Go FSU.

When I heard the Harry Potter game, Quidditch, was real I almost died.  I love Harry Potter!  I met up with the Silicon Valley Skrewts and photographed the magic they unleash on their broomsticks.

Check out the full series here.

Player Spotlight: William Johnson

themuddybroomstick:

This is the first in a series of Spotlights introducing Quidditch players from around the UK. I’ll be avoiding Captains and ‘big names’, focusing instead on the hidden gems of Quidditching talent. Anyway, time for our first entrant.

Name: William Richard Johnson (“Wishwellingtons”)

Age: 21

putonyourwarpaintassbutt:

is no-one going to talk about how they play quidditch in the internship?

Nope, absolutely no one has ever spoken of it.
