AND IT WAS EXCELLENT.
I lay down and covered myself in snow and pulled a Peeta, and then I stayed away from the Cornucopia and sniped one of the hidden balls instead, and just hid behind a tree. Our Gamemaker didn’t see me and so I was exempted from all her meddling until there were only 2 of us left - my Foxface tactic almost worked!
I pulled a Foxface two more times and won once after what was a truly spectacular - if I may say so - Matrix dodge away from Reilly. I also made a Rue-style alliance with Cynthia, in that neither of us had to break it because she was killed before it came to that.
All in all, GOOD TIMES! We used brooms to mark the lawn into quadrants, and all the trees and snow piles meant there were some good obstacles. We also played Canadian Rules Quidditch(tm): added more balls and used Cheaters (Chaser/Beaters) because we didn’t have quite enough people for a regular game. I liked playing with a Cheater because it automatically ensured we communicated more. It was super cold when I left the house, but the pitch was sunny so we all kept warm - say it with me, now: THERE’S NOOOO QUIDDITCH LIKE SNOOOOW QUIDDITCH, LIKE NOOO QUIDDITCH I KNOOOOW!
